Zahra Savannah Rock is Chris’s second daughter. He is very proud of her, and tells, that he never gets tired to show Zahra and his other daughters, how he loves them.

Little Ntombi-Futhi Samantha is the youngest addition to the famous family. She comes from South Africa, where till now her biological parents live. Their names are Thusang Precious Ndebele (mother) and Crispen Khanyile (father). Besides Ntombi, they have two other children. After separation, the girl’s blood-related parents decided to give her for adoption. 

Malaak started the legal process of adoption in 2014, soon after it was announced, that her marriage to Chris Rock failed. Nevertheless, the comedian told in his interview that he considers Ntombi as his daughter.

Her adoptive mother devoted to her the book “If It Takes a Village, Build One”. Her older sisters adore Ntombi.

Chris Sr. was just 56 when he passed away from diabetes, but still, he is remembered by his famous son (and namesake) as one of the greatest people on the planet. He earned his living as a truck driver and then as a mail delivery man. Now his sons, Chris and Tony Rock, run the charity organization, devoted to their father.

Charles was Chris’s older half-brother from the paternal side. He died from pneumonia in 2006. The man struggled with alcohol addiction for many years, which actually, caused his lung illness and early death.

Andre is a family man. He is married to Sandra Wilson and has three sons with her. One of his kids is an aspiring American football player. 

Chris’s brother graduated from Samuel J. Tilden High School. He studied biology at Benedict College. Currently, he earns his living as the owner of Julius Rock Trucking Inc, which he named after his late father.

Anthony is Chris’s younger brother and his colleague. Known widely as Tony Rock, he works as the standup comedian and actor and enjoys quite an extensive fan base. Tony participated in several successful projects like the sitcom “Living Biblically” and “Everybody Hates Chris”. He is a theater actor, too.

People, who had an opportunity to meet Chris Rock in person, tell that he doesn’t look like a typical celebrity at all. Very simple, very funny, very easy-going, he has started his career in the early 1990s. He has done a lot; there are really interesting projects in his resume. Probably, the most popular Rock’s creative product is the series “Everybody Hates Chris”. While working on it, he demonstrated various sides of his talent, being the narrator, writer and executive producer for the show.

He was born on February 7, 1965, in Andrews, the small town in South Carolina. He is the second child in the family of Christopher and Rosalie Rock. Chris has 5 siblings. His childhood was not so carefree. Soon after his birth, his parents moved their family to New York neighborhood. There Chris grew up, being surrounded by criminals and drug-addicted people. In his early years, he had to deal with racism. Around that time he understood, that his sense of humor is a good weapon against the cruelty of the world around.

He started his career like a typical standup comedian – at New York clubs and little cozy cafes. In the late 1980s, he became popular enough to be noticed.
