The name of Geno’s father is Eugene Cyril Smith Jr. Although Eugene was in his teens, when he welcomed his Geno, he was mature enough to take responsibility for his kid. He has never disappeared from the family picture, although Eugene and Geno’s mother have never been married officially.

Eugene Sr. is a son of Joann Smith and Geno Smith Sr. He grew up with a brother Christopher Smith. Chris has a son, named Jeremiah Smith, who is a promising wide receiver.

From the paternal side, Geno, our protagonist, has great athletic genes. His paternal great-grandfather, Cyril Smith, was a famous bodybuilder and later a boxing referee.

Eugene graduated from Miami Jackson High School. He has made a great career as a product manager. He is a long-term Miami resident.

He took care of Tracy from that moment when he knew, she was pregnant, and till now. Eugene shared each holiday dinner with Tracy and Geno. Geno’s mother’s full name is Octravier Sellers, but she is called Tracy by her friends and relatives.

She was a high school pupil when she met a handsome boy, named Eugene, through a mutual friend. He was a student of the neighboring school. Tracy and Eugene had a romance, which ended with a teen pregnancy. When Geno’s mother understood, that she was expecting a baby, she became devastated. Probably, that could become the end of Tracy’s teen life, if her mother Mosetta Bratton hadn’t supported her.

Mosetta, Geno’s grandmother, became a second mom for him. She passed away from kidney failure in 2012, and that became a real tragedy for Geno. The talented quarterback used to say that he “owes his grandmother everything”. Mosetta took care of her grandson to allow Tracy to finish her school education.

In addition to his mother and grandmother, Geno had another family member, who lived by his side and helped refine his sports talent. That was his maternal uncle Antwan Sellers, who discovered Geno’s athletic talent. Antwan used to work at the park, where he took Geno after school and played with him football there. Gradually little Geno became the strongest player in the park, which defined his career way.

Tracy faced many challenges while raising her son Geno as a single mother. She changed a number of odd jobs until she found her calling. With Geno’s paternal grandmother Joann, she founded the charity organization “Parents Without Partners Life Center”. Now Tracy supports teen moms, who lost their hopes, serving as a role model for them.

Geonte Smith (younger maternal half-brother)

Although Geno and Geonte share the same surname, they don’t appear to be full siblings. Geonte Naiquan Smith is Tracy’s son from the relationships she had after her separation from Eugene Sr.

Geonte started playing American football, still being a student at Miramar High School. He continued to play for the New Mexico State University team as a wide receiver. In 2018, Geonte graduated from college with a degree in business management.

Geno’s brother is single. He resides in Las Cruces, New Mexico. He planned to become a football coach after college, but those plans didn’t come true. Now he works as a social media manager.

Rianny Williams (younger maternal half-sister)

Geno has a younger half-sister from the maternal side. Her name is Rianny. She is the daughter of Geno’s mother Tracy and Ranny Lloyd Williams. Tracy and Ranny used to be married, but later they parted ways. Still, their union resulted in the birth of a great girl named Rianny.

Rianny is a Miami-Dade College graduate. She resides in Miami, Florida.

Aniah Smith (younger paternal half-sister)

Aniah Marlene Smith is another of Geno’s younger half-sisters but from the paternal side. The girl is the daughter of his father Eugene and an unknown woman. It’s undisclosed, whether Eugene Sr was married to Aniah’s mother and if they are still together.
