LeBron James Jr, or Bronny, as his relatives name him in a family circle, is a lucky guy, because his father serves as a role model not just for him, but also for many people worldwide. He is considered one of the most skillful NBA players worldwide. His career and talent are compared to those ones of Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan. Nowadays many people in the boy’s immediate circle think that he would follow his dad’s pace. By the way, LeBron Sr’s path has never been easy.

During his early years, LeBron Raymone James Sr. resided in Akron, a small town in Ohio. The baby boy was welcomed in this world just by Gloria Marie James, his mom, who was just about 16 then. She had a kid from an occasional boyfriend Anthony McClelland. They were not even going to get married.

It’s hard to tell, that LeBron had a happy childhood. His mother moved from one town to another, looking for a better job and a bigger salary. Her son had to change schools too often to find friends or to study well. He saved his lone heart with sports – since the earliest years LeBron was good in football as well as in basketball.

The teenager’s life changed when he met a coach Frank Walker, who opened the door of his house in front of LeBron. Thus, for the first time, he felt what it was like to have a family.

With Frank’s help, he made friends with other young talented athletes like Willie McGee and others. They made their school sports a sports sensation.

When James studied in the 8^th form, he was the tallest and the most skillful player in his team. Around that time journalists of different sports issues started to write about him. Obviously, the young athlete was going to become a basketball star.

He started to play professionally immediately after graduation from school. Probably, he could start playing professionally even earlier, but the NBA age limit stopped him. Cleveland Cavaliers drafted him first. Finally, James could start the way to his dream.

Each new basketball player needs some time to show himself. But James didn’t need it. He finished his first match with perfect results – 25 points, 9 assists, and 6 rebounds. He came to win – that was not a secret.

Except for the Cavaliers, Bronny’s father played for Miami Heat and Los Angeles Lakers, too. He gained the reputation of a constantly developing player, who trained hard, almost without vacation, turning his weak points into strong ones. But once the basketball star took a one-month pause, during which he didn’t take a ball in his hands. It was in the summer of 2013 when he married James Jr’s mother Savannah Brinson.

In 2018 LeBron changed the team “Cleveland Cavaliers” to “Los Angeles Lakers”. In the 2018-19 season, he was supposed to lead his new team to a championship victory, but LeBron got a serious groin trauma. That’s why he was out of the field during the last 17 games of the season.

After a long severe treatment, he managed to relaunch his career. In 2022-23 LeBron Sr still plays for the Lakers. He has started the season successfully.

In 2024 LeBron, who had already been put on a pedestal, bumped into the next level of success. He was selected for the 2024 NBA All-Star Game, which became his other record. He surpassed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s results in this area. In March 2024, LeBron accumulated 40, 000 points, which made him a total record-setter of all times.

Bronny’s mother was born in Akron, OH in the family of JK and Jennifer Brinson. She studied at Buchtel Community Learning Center, where crossed the ways with a sports star and an incredibly charismatic person James LeBron.

They started dating. When Savannah turned 17, she got pregnant with her first son – today’s protagonist – Bronny.

Savannah lived with her stellar partner for several years. Finally, he dared to marry her. They wedded on September 14, 2013, in the company of their two sons – Bronny and his younger brother Bryce.

Mrs. LeBron is not a weak woman. She is a real rule-setter in her family. Her husband is often away from home, so she brings up her kids mostly by herself and remains the credibility for them.

In addition to her everyday work as a wife and a mother, Savannah is a businesswoman and a philanthropist. She develops the furniture line “Home Court” and runs a female organization “Women of Our Future”.

Bronny is a happy boy, who has not just famous athletic parents (his mother was an athlete in high school too), but also an older brother, with whom he plays and trains.

Bryce the younger beloved kid of the celebrated LeBron and his then-girlfriend and now wife Savannah. He was born in Ohio but later moved to Los Angeles, where his father came, following the development of his career.

The boy studies at Sierra Canyon School (just like his older brother). Of course, he practices basketball too, and seems to be great at it. He performs on the field as a shooting guard, and as it’s rumored, had already caught sports agents’ attention.

In the 2023-2024 season, Bryce generated a lot of buzz, when he transferred to Campbell Hall Day School in Studio City, CA. He even took part in a summer basketball tournament as part of the school team. Nevertheless, he changed his mind in August and returned to Notre Dame High School.

In his interview, Bryce used to tell, that he is still not sure, that basketball is his cup of tea.

Zhuri Nova James (younger sister)

Zhuri is the only girl in James’ family and the only kid, which was born after Savannah-LeBron’s marriage. Although the sports star and his wife announced Bronny’s sister’s birth, they didn’t show the girl in public for a long time. Firstly, the cute child appeared in front of the cameras at NBA Finals alongside her parents and brothers, when she was 1.5 years old. She is a real little gem in James’ gang.

In 2024, Zhuri is a school pupil. But as you can judge from her family, she can’t stop on a single project. LeBron’s youngest kid is hosting the YouTube show, titled “All Things Zhuri”, which can brag about 204k subscribers. On the show, Zhuri shares her everyday routine. She shows the recipes of healthy dishes and drinks, gives some secrets her mother and she uses for haircare and of course, tells about her family members’ lives. The girl also showed the viewers her pet – a bulldog, named Indigo.

LeBron Raymone James Jr., widely known as Bronny James, is also as a rising basketball star.

He was born in 2004 when both his parents were in their late teen’s ages. His dad was 19 and his mom was 18. His parents married when the boy reached the 9-year-old age mark.

Having inherited his talent for basketball from his father, Bronny started playing during his school years. In 2019 he transferred to Sierra Canyon School and started playing for the basketball team. His teammates, among others, were Zaire Wade (the son of another basketball star Dwyane Wade) and Brandon Boston Jr.

Being part of the string school team, Bronny debuted in the match against Montgomery High School and won 10 points, being the off-bench player at first.

In January 2020 he set a school record, having gained 17 points at the match against Viewpoint School. In 2021 he missed the season because of the trauma. The boy tore his meniscus and had to pass through surgery. In 2022 he returned to the field and got several offers from universities. The year 0f 2022 is Bronny’s last school year.

Nowadays Bronny is a sensation, who is looking for his very own way up to the NBA stardom. In 2022 he became a student at the University of Southern California and was immediately recruited for the college team. Thus, Bronny James has officially become part of the USC Trojans – the team at the University of Southern California.

According to King James’ words, he grew like a personality and a man after the birth of his first son Bronny.
Since the earliest years, the boy has been interested in various kinds of sports. Except for basketball, he dreamed of playing ice hockey and American football, but his father forbade him from these activities. The reason was safety – LeBron Sr was afraid, his son could get traumas.
Bronny started to play basketball at the age of 9. He performed for Miami City Ballers.

In December 2023 Bronny returned to the basketball court as a member of the Trojans (USC team). Although that match was lost, for Bronny that was a special day. His father, the basketball king LeBron shared an emotional post through Instagram, which he devoted to his oldest son’s debut.
