Alayna Salina Galeai has gained popularity as Tony’s biggest fan and supporter. She is a frequent guest at his matches, and Alayna is that secret force, which inspires her talented husband to win.
The talented golfer often praises his better half on Instagram. He used to say about Alayna on his wedding anniversary, that she was the most beautiful and understanding person in the world.
Alayna was born in Laie, Hawaii, so she calls herself “an island girl”. She comes from a big family. Tony’s wife has three sisters and a brother. Her father, Tipa Galeai, passed away in December 2021. But her mother Taliilagi Moana Geleai is still alive. During her school years, Alayna was a successful volleyball player.
Tony met his wife in 2010 in his hometown. Alayna came to Salt Lake City, Utah to visit her relatives. She crossed her ways with Tony at a dance party. Their romance ended with the wedding on Mother’s Day (the 12th of May) in 2012.
Their wedding ceremony was very modest. To offset that, Tony and Alayna renewed their wedding vows in November 2023. The amorous event was visited by their kids. It took place in Cabo, Mexico.

Tony and his wife Alayna always dreamed about a big family. Their firstborn is Jraice.
At that time, Tony hadn’t reached his stat status yet, so Jraice was born in a poor household. That was a hard time in the Finau family because the baby boy was born the day after his paternal grandmother Ravena’s death.
Despite all troubles, Jraice was surrounded by love and care during the first years of his life. Nowadays, he is a pupil of the Challenger School (like all other Finau kids) and an aspiring athlete. In his Instagram Tony wrote about his beloved little Neenee, that she was “full of drama”. Now Neenee is a school pupil. She helps her mother to babysit the younger kids. Besides, she helps her father to win his golf matches! Tony used to say, that Neenee is his “good luck charm” and her support is necessary for him to perform well on the court.

Kelepi Finau (father)

Tony called himself “momma’s boy” on social media. But he is very close with his dad, too. Kelepi Finau is not just Tony’s best friend. He is also his first golf coach and biggest fan.
Kelepi was born in Tonga and moved to Los Angeles at the age of 11. His father, Sione Finau, took his 11 children to the country of opportunities. Since the earliest years, Kelepi knew that his dad did everything to give him that chance, and he didn’t want to let him down.
Tony’s father was a good student and athlete at Brigham Young University–Hawaii. He was a member of a university volleyball team, where he crossed the ways with Ravena, the beautiful athletic girl of Tongan-Samoan origin. They exchanged wedding vows in 1985.
After the birth of Gipper and Tony, Vena and Kelepi put much effort into keeping them busy to prevent them from getting into trouble in the dangerous neighborhood. The two brothers fell in love with golf in their teens, and Kelepi built the court in their backyard and coached his sons.
Kelepi Finau earned his living as an airport baggage handler. His annual salary was $35, 000, and that was too little for his seven kids. But Kelepi was always a great supporter of all his children.

Tony Finau devotes many posts on social media to his late mother. Besides, he used the first letter of her name – “V” – as the logotype of the Tony Finau Foundation.
The full name of his mother is Ravena Mele Finau. She was born in Carson, CA in the family of Pianola and Lei’a Mapuolesega. Vena was one of five kids in the family. Her parents staged the production “The Sounds of Polynesia”, which became extremely popular in California. Vena studied at the Carson High School. Soon after graduation she met Kelepi Finau and fell in love with him. They got married on September 13, 1985.
Vena was a faithful person. She was an active member of the Los Angeles LDS Temple. She taught her kids to be hardworking and respectful to people around them.
Her life tragically stopped on November 27, 2011, in a car crash. Vena was on her way home from the wedding when her car was broken in an accident.
After her death, Tony, whose career was just in the initial phase, decided to become a golf star. And he did it to honor his mother’s memory!

Heilala Finau, or Kinga, is the oldest one among Tony’s siblings. Kinga is married to a woman, named Sarah Finau. They are parents of two daughters and two sons.

They both learned to play golf simultaneously, and Gipper was even better at it. With the help of their father, Gipper and Tony practiced playing at home. Gipper was the first to turn pro at the age of 16.
Both brothers got wide popularity in 2009 when featured on the contest show “Big Break: Disney Golf”. Gipper was eliminated after the 9th week.

Pianola Finau, or NarNar, is Tony’s beloved little sister. NarNar is a person of a hard fate. She was a driver in that car, which was involved in an accident when her mother died. NarNar felt very guilty, and it was hard for her to live with it. Later she found peace in her soul due to her faith.
Now Nar Nar is the wife of Mohelika Uasike and the mother of the boy Mapa Fuapau Uasike (born in 2020).
